Rolex Oyster Chronograph Anti - Magnetic

Launched in 1955, reference 6234 was produced for only six years. Scholars say that have been made only 150 ref. 6234 in yellow gold (less than 40 should be in 18 kt).

That’s why his is one of the rarest Rolex chronographs.

To satisfy customer’s requests, as for ref. 6034, also ref. 6234 can be found with different dial configurations (counters size, scale colours and several type of indexes).

Not only Pre-Daytonas are extremely rare, especially in such condition, but have lately seen an increase in demand by new buyers who got to the Daytona party too late and realize how prices are still very convenient compared to the real value of such pieces. 

This example is very well preserved: the dial with it’s original luminous dots and small counters is in good condition, except for light scratches on the hour register. The case is impressive and the lugs are still massive and the bezel maintains it’s original shape. The hallmarks under the lugs are crisp and can easily be seen. It’s very hard to come across this kind of quality.
