This particular trunk stands out as one of the last remaining examples of antique trunks with a rounded top, as the market had already begun transitioning to flat lids to facilitate efficient stacking on trains, ships, and beyond. Adorning the original label, nestled in the bottom left corner, is a precise date: "1908," thus dating this trunk to the early years of the 20th century.
